Investigating DNA interactions through single-molecule Atomic Force Microscopy
DNA interactions underpin some of the most fundamental process in living cells, including DNA repair and replication. Using high resolution single-molecule AFM we are able to quantify strutural changes induced by binding of external factors such as DNA and proteins. We hope to use this information to uncover mechanisms underlying fundamental cellular processes, from genome organisation to targeted drug development.
