PhD positions

We have 2 PhD positions open to start in 2025 which span our wide range of research, from COMPUTATIONAL image analysis to molecular biology.

The first is an EPSRC CASE studentship with AstraZeneca to develop our high-resolution AFM methodologies for application in emerging RNA technologies. This position will cover UK home fees only and therefore is not open to international candidates. You can find more details here.

The second is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Doctoral Network-funded position in the project SPM4.0. The project is entitled “Machine Learning Algorithms for Autonomous Multiparametric Imaging and Analysis of DNA Molecules and Interactions”. This project is open to international students who have not been resident in the UK for more than 12 months in the last 36. The project will suit students with an interest in machine learning, programming, and software engineering applied to solve problems in health.
